Sneakers for Success (SFS) is a community outreach program investigated in 2019 and implemented in 2020.
The Women's Club teamed up with a national non-profit company called Shoes That Fit. This program's goal was to provide students (from low-income or migrant families) with name-brand sneakers to encourage them and give them pride. The club focused on two schools that volunteered to partner with our club to support these children.
All 134 pairs of new, name-brand sneakers, measured to fit each selected student, were delivered to the two selected elementary schools, Wimauma Elementary School (WES) and Ruskin Elementary School (RES), for distribution to the children.
